Exposing Your Web Business Using Social Media

1. Facebook If you have not heard of it, and worse yet if you are not on it, you just don't have a chance to keep up with the competition. Chances are, your competing brands are on the mega power social media site and if you are not, well, I would rather not mention what the consequences will be for you business wise. Facebook isn't just for individuals anymore. Yes, there are still the occasional peeps that really say, "I like Facebook to keep in touch with mom and grandma," but most people do like to check out their favorite brands and businesses too...this is 2010 not 2008.

If you are a serious facebook user, you should have noticed by now you get "suggestions to become a fan" more than once a day. This is the power of the individual businesses saying, "hey, we want you to stay in touch with us and we want to let you know what we are doing around the clock."
